Mental health and substance use treatment can carry a stigma in our everyday lives. However, at Stand Amid the Roar, I seek to end that stigma through empathy, education, and accessing the resilience and strength that already resides inside you.

Individual Counseling

A warm, one-on-one 45-50-minute session focused on your goals, challenges, and next steps. You will never be judged in our sessions, and I am motivated to helping you achieve whatever goals you have.

Level of Care Assessments and Evaluations

Level of Care assessments are provided for patients based on their individual needs, court requirements, or for a better understanding of one’s own needs and assistance with finding appropriate support. With this, individuals are provided with an evaluation and a report with recommended treatment options.

Addiction Counseling

A 45-50-minute session focused on recovery, clinical education, relapse prevention, and every aspect of living a sober life. No addiction will be denied or judged in any way. Nobodies’ recovery is the same and we will curtail my treatment to your specific needs.

Substance Use Disorder Evaluation and Reporting

Individuals are provided with an initial diagnostic assessment and evaluation of their substance use. Patients are assessed on their individual needs and histories. Addiction is a disease and we treat it with the same medical responsibility in the assessment process. Reports may be used for finding a treatment center, relapse prevention strategies, and court mandated reporting.

Clinical Lecturing and Motivational Speaking

Our desire to spread the anti-stigma movement is highlighted by our motivational speaking and clinical lecturing program. Mike tells his story with mental health and medical struggles, his interactions with those struggling with MH and addiction, while mixing it with clinical and historical lessons and evidence-based information.

Intervention/Family Support Services for Addiction and Mental Health

Addiction is a family disease and navigating the complexities of the healthcare system while supporting someone struggling with a substance use disorder can be daunting. Stand Amid the Roar provides comprehensive clinical education for families, assessment of individuals, recommendations for treatment modalities or treatment centers, and case reports for any legal or civil requirements.
